Capt. Flip has been boating since childhood, honing his skills on Lake Lanier in his
hometown of Atlanta, GA. He is former owner of Gallion Datacom, a successful
computer networking company in Atlanta. Flip is a computer technology consultant,
a highly-skilled marine canvas fabricator, boat builder and master carpenter.

Shortly after moving to Fernandina Beach in 2001, Flip became a certified
sailing instructor for Windward Sailing. He served as captain aboard tour boats,
and has worked on tug boats, a casino boat and many other types of vessels.
